So close but so far

Another case of a long time coming, Zara will be available online from September 2. Unfortunately Spain, Portugal, the UK, France and Germany will be the only lucky countries to reap the benefits for now, hopefully access for Australian customers is on it's way.

Spec savers

Style.com is questioning the fashion sense in the chains on glasses trend seen this season at Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, but personally I think it's been a long time coming. As a glasses wearer, I have often thought a chain like this would be more than handy to keep me from constantly misplacing them. Stylish AND functional fashion worth spending on.

Also slightly reminiscent of the Chanel sunglasses on one of my favourite style icons of all time, Edina Moon.

Priceless

What do you call over 90 Alexander McQueen outfits, 50 Philip Treacy hats and a collection of Manolo Blahnik shoes all owned by the late and great Isabella Blow?

An auction will be held on September 15 by Christie's in London on behalf of the Blow estate.

Why hats are the best accessory

Ridiculous, over the top and unnecessary, hats are by far better than any other accessory. Case in point below, all Rike Feurstein at Opening Ceremony.

Hats for the Kaiser

Laetitia Crahay is the accessories designer for Chanel, and milliner for Maison Michel (bought by Chanel in the interest of preserving French craftsmanship).

Not only is her work awesome, but she cheekily describes her good skin as a product of smoking, drinking and partying, so how can I not like her. Also have to wonder if she's responsible for the bunny ears epidemic that happened not long ago, she's wearing her own in the 2 pics below.
