This is Tizzy

Meet Tizzy. She was abandoned by her owners and is in pretty bad shape, but since we've started feeding her she's looking better, and now of course she doesn't leave our front yard. Despite not being a cat fan, she's actually very sweet, although she looks particularly evil in these photos. I was probably annoying her with the camera. If anyone wants a little cat she would love a new home, eventually I might have to take her to the shelter to get a proper check up and I'm not sure they'll let me keep her.

Why hats are the best accessory

Ridiculous, over the top and unnecessary, hats are by far better than any other accessory. Case in point below, all Rike Feurstein at Opening Ceremony.

Pseudo camping

Some photos from my camping trip to Cockatoo Island. A few pics are pretty grainy, courtesy of some bad weather and crappy iphone camera. Our tent looked onto Woolwich and around the corner we had a uninterrupted view of the Harbour Bridge, where we decided to set up our wine and cheese spread.

Laetitia Crahay is the accessories designer for Chanel, and milliner for Maison Michel (bought by Chanel in the interest of preserving French craftsmanship).

Not only is her work awesome, but she cheekily describes her good skin as a product of smoking, drinking and partying, so how can I not like her. Also have to wonder if she's responsible for the bunny ears epidemic that happened not long ago, she's wearing her own in the 2 pics below.

Why blog?

I've created this blog mostly out of curiosity but also to spare the mental health of family and friends (you know who you are). I like to share things I like with them, so now rather than inundate them with emails and attachments, I can just post them this link. And share it with everyone else at the same time, coz I figure if I like it, then other people must too. Possibly. Maybe.
